Cecelia L. Harris, CPC, CEIC
Global visionary and senior human resources leader Cecelia L. Harris is president of Harris Resources Consulting, LLC, where she applies her deep expertise and extensive experience developing and implementing processes and systems to increase organization effectiveness and efficiency to achieve its business strategies and client goals. Ms. Harris has a well-established career in the HR field supporting the District of Columbia, Federal, local and state governments as well as private, public and nonprofit organizations, both nationally and internationally. She has helped organizations successfully navigate the complex world of HR in 43 states and 5 countries.
Her consultancy work is vast, encompassing all facets of human resources including training and development, employee engagement, staff augmentation, quality management, environmental regulation, strategic planning, policy development, benefits design, compliance, and marketing and business development. She has worked with numerous organizations to establish or evaluate its corporate human resources department.
Her work also includes the development and delivery of sexual harassment training for a very large city’s public library employees. Ms. Harris has traveled the United States providing Human Resources Overview Training under the U.S. Small Business Administration 7(j) Management and Technical Assistance Program for Small Businesses.
A Certified Professional Coach and Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach, Ms. Harris holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration and is Co-Broker of enhancedcareMD®, a proprietary healthcare solution. She is a long-time member of the National Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), a member of the Human Resources Society of Prince George's County, Maryland, the Certified Coaches Alliance (CCA) and The HR Roundtable, a Professional Business Group.
Outside of the HR world, she enjoys blue crab, long walks, spending time with family and friends, and mentoring people of all backgrounds to spiritual fulfillment. She is also the proud dog mom of Cassius and Laila, two Italian Mastiffs.
